NFL Standings, NFC South: Tampa Bay Bucs And New Orleans Saints Still A Game Behind Atlanta Falcons

The New Orleans Saints have the week off, but fell a game behind the Atlanta Falcons after the Birds outlasted the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night. Next up for the Saints: the Seattle Seahawks at home, then trips to see the Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals.

The best team in the NFC walloped the Carolina Panthers to pull within a game of the Falcons. Next up they get the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens, both on the road, before a rematch with Atlanta at home.

The poor Panthers have the NFL's worst point differential by 30 points. With the Buffalo Bills getting a win today, the Panthers are undeniably the league's worst team. They get the Baltimore Ravens next, then travel to play the Cleveland Browns and Seahawks.

Atlanta does hold a head-to-head tiebreaker edge over both the Saints and Bucs. It might be even better news for Falcons fans that the team still gets to play the Panthers twice down the stretch.
