With the Dallas Cowboys convincing road win in the New York Giants house, the Atlanta Falcons have moved into first place in the NFC. The Giants would win a tiebreaker against the Falcons, with their 5-1 conference record trumping Atlanta's 4-1. If the 5-3 Philadelphia Eagles beat the Washington Redskins tomorrow night, they'll still rank a spot below the Packers, to whom they lost in week one.
↵The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are also in the mix, sitting at 6-3 themselves. Yes, it sucks that one 6-3 would lose out to the NFC West winner while another 6-3 team would have to travel to play the NFC West winner, but we go through this every year with that division. The Chicago Bears would also earn home field by winning the NFC North.
↵As we were saying while walking into Bobby Dodd Stadium on Saturday, the NFC is pretty much the ACC. That should be good for ACC recruiting.
