John Madden Picks Atlanta Falcons Offensive Line As Week 10 Best

What does John Madden do these days besides having a videogame published in his name and being rich? Helping the general public figure out which offensive lines are good, apparently. For the second time this season, the Atlanta Falcons line has been named Madden's Most Valuable Protectors of the week.

The Falcons running game produced only 60 yards on 23 carries, but stopping the run was clearly a Ravens priority. Baltimore's notoriety as a run defense certainly makes the Birds line's performance look more impressive. Michael Turner only gained 2.3 yards per carry, but Atlanta held the ball for over two-thirds of the first half.

The Falcons gave up two sacks and several quarterback hits to an inspired Baltimore Ravens LB Terrell Suggs, but Matt Ryan had time to throw otherwise and posted his best game yet. I'm saying the Falcons line should get PBK Madden bumps, but maybe not RBK this week.
