Buccaneers Vs. 49ers Final Score Update: Tampa Bay Shuts Out San Francisco, 21-0

It’s tough to say if this game was more about a magical season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or a dreadful one for the San Francisco 49ers. Either way, the Bucs continue their improbable ride and are now 7-3, a game behind the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC South. The 49ers, on the other hand, dropped to 3-7 but may not be out of the playoff race thanks to their residence in the NFC West.

Josh Freeman was his usual game-manager self with two touchdowns and no interceptions on 13-for-20 passing. LeGarrette Blount saw 26 carries and managed 82 yards to keep the Bucs offense trucking in this defensive struggle.

The Buccaneers had one of the worst rushing defenses in the league but Frank Gore could only muster 23 yards on 12 carries. Troy Smith threw the games only interception and did not register a touchdown while throwing for 148 yards. The Bucs had the ball for over 36 minutes.
