Phoenix Suns at Atlanta Hawks, 5, SportSouth: One of the rumored destinations for the Josh Smith trade that is not happening, the Suns kindly bring former Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets star Gani Lawal and prodigal Hawk Josh Childress back to town. Can the Hawks get to 7-0, AKA an entire two games ahead of the undefeated Miami Heat?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons, 1, Fox: Records (and jokes) aside, the Bucs always play the Birds tough. Last year Atlanta needed a last-second touchdown to beat Tampa at home, plus some late drama to break the back-to-back-winning-seasons curse in Raymond James. The Bucs have yet to beat anybody of note -- which could certainly change in just a few hours. Join us for previews, scores and updates, and so forth.

↵

Indianapolis Colts at Philadelphia Eagles, 4:15, CBS: Michael Vick returns, so that's something. Only two day games today, as the NFL prefers to avoid situations in which fans find themselves flipping between three or more exciting games at once. You know, scenarios like we find every Saturday. Enjoy Peyton Manning. He'll probably play another decade.

↵

Dallas Cowboys at Green Bay Packers, 8:20, NBC: For sheer schadenfreude, it's a must that you tune in to watch Bobby Petrino's future employer combust every six-to-eight days. Can Dallas receivers keep Jon Kitna's interception total to a handful or fewer? We only have two more prime time Cowboys games to endure this year. We're almost there.

Walking Dead episode two, 10, AMC: As long as this series remains in the A, it'll remain in our Sunday TV roundup. The TV guide blurb: "[Dumbass in the tank]'s arrival in Atlanta puts another group of survivors in jeopardy. Emotions amongst the group are high as Rick must confront an even more dangerous enemy than the walkers."
