Saints Vs. Panthers Score: 17-3, Saints Lead Panthers At The Half

As the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers battle on one side of the NFC South, the New Orleans Saints try keep pace with them by playing the Carolina Panthers. The Saints have been dominant in this one, outgaining the 1-6 Panthers, 284 yards to 91 in the first half. The Panthers have managed only nine yards passing with Matt Moore completing only 50% of his six pass attempts.

Jonathan Stewart left the game with an injury and Tyrell Sutton has come in to replace him since DeAngelo Williams did not suit up for this one. Drew Brees is 18-for-28 for 183 yards and two touchdowns. He has thrown an interception. Julius Jones leads the Saints’ rushers with 67 yards on four carries including a 54-yard scamper. Both of Brees’ touchdowns have gone to his tight ends, Jeremy Shockey and Jimmy Graham.

Lance Moore leads all receivers with 54 yards while Marques Colston has six catches for 50 yards.
