Baltimore Ravens Vs. Atlanta Falcons Injury Report: Roddy White And Sean Weatherspoon Still Not Practicing

The Atlanta Falcons have no time to celebrate their Week 9 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They are the host team for NFL Network's kickoff of Thursday Night Football which gives them only three days to prepare for Joe Flacco, Ray Lewis and the rest of the Baltimore Ravens. With the quick turnaround comes the abridged practice schedule and injury report. Let's dive in.

WR Roddy White is still not practicing. Though he told reporters after the game he would be out there against the Ravens, his practice attendance has not backed that up. Obviously, his knee is a huge concern since he's on pace for the greatest receiving year in the history of the world. I may be prone to hyperbole, but he's good. If he can't go...you know what? I don't even want to think about that. He'll play. I know he'll play. He has to play. (author curls up into the fetal position and begins rocking back and forth)

LB Sean Weatherspoon has not practiced since the Clinton administration and I'm wondering if the Falcons can go ahead and redshirt this kid. Let's just call a mulligan and have him come in next year and dominate the way he was during the first quarter of the season. Stephen Nicholas continues to be the beneficiary of Weatherspoon's gimpy knee.

C Todd McClure has started 136 consecutive games but he still has yet to practice this week. I wouldn't be surprised to see him play his Ironman card and play on Thursday but some practice time - even limited - on Wednesday would make me sleep a whole lot better.

The rest of the report is the usual "limited participation" guys. Enjoy the full report, straight from the official site:

WR Brian Finneran (knee/ribs) LP

TE Justin Peelle (groin) DNP

LB Sean Weatherspoon (knee) DNP

C Todd McClure DNP

LB Curtis Lofton (knee) LP

RB Jason Snelling (knee) LP

WR Roddy White (knee) DNP

CB Brian Williams (hamstring) LP

The Ravens are only missing one player which makes sense since it seems that one player is missing some vowels.
