NFL Week 14 Scores, Philadelphia Eagles Vs. Dallas Cowboys Final Score: 30-27, Eagles Improve To 9-4

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Dallas Cowboys 30-27 on Sunday Night Football preventing the Atlanta Falcons from clinching a playoff berth. Temporarily at least. The Falcons can still get in this week if the New York Giants lose to the Minnesota Vikings in Detroit on Monday.

The Eagles offense ran up 429 yards of total offense including 171 rushing to take a half-game lead over the Giants in the NFC East race. Michael Vick accounted for three touchdowns – two passing, one rushing – and DeSean Jackson four passes for 210 yards and a 91-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to give the Eagles the lead for good.

The Cowboys fell to 3-2 under interim head coach Jason Garrett despite 349 yards of offense and two touchdown passes from Jon Kitna to Jason Witten. They did lead 20-14 in the third quarter before 16 unanswered points put the game out of reach.
