The more things change, the more they stay the same. For the second straight week, LB Curtis Lofton and RB Jason Snelling are listed as questionable on the team's injury report. Last Week, Lofton gave it a go but Snelling was held out. This week, I expect both players to be active - they were full participants during Friday's practice - but a lot can happen on the four-and-a-half hour flight to the Pacific Northwest.
If for some tragic reason Lofton was a gameday scratch, Coy Wire would make his first start at middle linebacker since Lofton was drafted in 2008. For Snelling, it's not that big of a deal if he misses this game. The Falcons should have no trouble beating the Seahawks without him but his pass-catching skills out of the backfield will be needed against the New Orleans Saints in two weeks. But I'm not looking ahead.
