New York Post Responds To Philadelphia Eagles QB Mike Vick Carving Apart New York Giants

For those of you who were under a rock yesterday, the New York Giants decided that a 21-point lead against the Philadelphia Eagles was enough.  So they decided to take the last eight minutes of their football game against the Michael Vick and the Eagles off.

Bad idea.

Vick rallied the team back from the dead before DeSean Jackson made mince meat of the Giants punt return team and took it 65 yards for the game-winning score as the clocks hit all zeros at the New Meadowlands Stadium.  Of course, Giants coach Tom Coughlin blamed the punter Matt Dodge for not kicking the ball out of bounds instead of all of those other G-men who failed to tackle anything in an Eagles uniform or do something as simple as get a first down in the final minutes of the game.

The result was a 38-31 win for the Eagles, which made it way more likely that Philadelphia will grab the No. 2 seed and an express pass to facing the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship game.

It goes without saying that the New York tabloids were all over the loss, with the New York Post doing what the New York Post always does best:
