Dallas Cowboys at Arizona Cardinals, 7:30, NFL Network: Who wouldn’t want to celebrate Christmas in the desert? Scheduling this game probably seemed like a better idea back when it looked like it might be Kurt Warner vs. Tony Romo, but there’s nothing wrong with watching Jon Kitna and … hang on … John Skelton make the holidays a little brighter for us all.
Having lost to the Carolina Panthers, the Cards are still in the running for the No. 1 pick in next year’s NFL Draft, though they’ll need some help from the Cats. But first things first, losing to the Cowboys at home. Dallas has only won three road games this year, but they’re on a two-game road winning tear and have won four of their last six overall since canning Wade Philips, so keep the faith, Zona fans.
This game just makes me think of Emmitt Smith. That is all.
