NFL Week 16 Fantasy Football: New Orleans Saints Vs. Atlanta Falcons

The Monday Night Football game between the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons will decide many fantasy football championships. With most leagues ending in Week 16, the dynamic offensive players in this game will either make or break a fantasy season. Let me be your guide on your quest to fantasy football immortality.

Fantasy Starters

QB Drew Brees - You have never benched Brees yet so don't start now. 290 passing yards and two touchdowns seems about right.

RB Michael Turner - Turner has been crushing defenses all season and the Saints' run defense will not be any different. Anything less than 100 yards and one touchdown would be a disappointment.

WR Marques Colston - Colston has regained his role of No. 1 receiver in New Orleans and he's always a red zone threat. 70 Yards and a score would make his owners very happy.

QB Matt Ryan - This isn't a great matchup and Ryan may struggle to meet his yearly average but he's too consistent to bench unless you have great other options. Let's say, 200 yards and one touchdown.

WR Lance Moore - Moore killed the Falcons in their Week 3 meeting and something tells me he'll play a big role in this one as well. I'm looking for 55 yards and one touchdown.

On the Bench

RB Pierre Thomas - The Saints' running game has been non-existent in recent weeks and even if it does find its footing, the Falcons' run defense is one of the league's best.

RB Reggie Bush - With Thomas, Chris Ivory and the Falcons run defense in the equation, Bush could make an impact in the receiving game but he's not been a factor there either.

The rest of the key players are neutral plays. If you have no better options, feel free to use Robert Meachem, the Saints D/ST and Garrett Hartley for the Saints and Matt Bryant, the Falcons D/ST, Tony Gonzalez and Roddy White for the Falcons.
