Falcons Vs. Buccaneers Score Update: 28-24, Matt Ryan Gives Falcons The Lead Again

The Atlanta Falcons regained the lead in Tampa, 28-24, with a nine-yard touchdown pass from Matt Ryan to Michael Jenkins. The touchdown capped a 10-play, 67-yard drive that was helped along with two Buccaneer penalties.

The Falcons defense will get a chance to seal this game as they did back in Week 9. It was four weeks ago in the Georgia Dome that the Falcons stopped LeGarrette Blount at the goalline to preserve a 27-21 victory.

Blount, who is over 100 yards rushing today, should be the key guy for the Falcons to monitor as will rookie Mike Williams.

Ryan, nicknamed Matty Ice, continues to earn his moniker with yet another fourth quarter drive to give his team the lead, and quite possibly, the victory.

During the drive, tight end Tony Gonzalez limped off the field after a pass interference penalty. He has an ankle injury and he is ruled questionable to return.
