NFC South Standings: Falcons Lead Saints By One Game With Bucs Three Back

The NFC South title may have just become a two-team race. The Atlanta Falcons defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 28-24, to move to 10-2 and drop the Bucs to 7-5. The New Orleans Saints beat the Cincinnati Bengals, 30-24, to win their fifth straight game and enter Week 14 at 9-3. The Carolina Panthers are trying real hard but they are not good at football. They are 1-11 and heading for the first pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.

The Falcons and Saints meet in Week 16 at the Georgia Dome on Monday Night Football in the game that should decide the NFC South crown. Both teams, and possible the Buccaneers, will be going to the playoffs but it's the Monday Nighter that could decide which team will be playing at home in their first playoff game.

The Falcons need to capture homefield advantage. No Atlanta fan wants to see them playing on the road in Philadelphia or Chicago come January.
