NFL Playoff Picture: Falcons Maintain Home Field Edge As Saints And Bears Win

New, 2 comments

The NFC's playoff picture is set for the week. The Atlanta Falcons held on to knock the Tampa Bay Buccaneers onto the playoff bubble as the New Orleans Saints, Chicago Bears, and Philadelphia Eagles won to keep the pressure on. The St. Louis Rams won too, which should not be relevant to our discussion here. The Green Bay Packers, Seattle Seahawks, and Minnesota Vikings are also lingering just outside of the current playoff picture.

In the AFC, two huge games are still left: Steelers-Ravens tonight and Patriots-Jets tomorrow night. The AFC could virtually flip, or they could come into clearer focus.

The Falcons get the Carolina Panthers next week.
