Madden 11 Roster Ratings Update: Ovie Mughelli, William Moore Among Falcons On The Rise

Apparently this week's Madden 11 ratings update is a big deal, as it's the first one since the regular season ended and is meant to reflect more of a whole-season look rather than just inching players up or down. Or something. I don't know, man.

The Atlanta Falcons move up a point to 90. Six individual Falcons players, five of them defenders, also get increases, with safety William Moore's jump from 78 to 82 leading the way. DT Corey Peters, CB Brent Grimes, DT Jonathan Babineaux, CB Dunta Robinson, and Pro Bowl-starting FB Ovie Mughelli also get bumps.

Particularly happy to see Peters' rating. The rookie from Kentucky started the year rated 50 and finishes it with a 70, which I pretty much predicted. It's no big deal, I'm just an exceptional video game football talent scout is all.

Elsewhere around the NFC South the Saints tumble down to an 87, the Panthers get a bunch of very exciting depth chart adjustments, and Buccaneers QB Josh Freeman is up to an 86.
