Green Bay Packers Vs. Atlanta Falcons Score: 42-14, Packers Score 35 Unanswered

New, 1 comment

The Green Bay Packers have all but punched their ticket to the NFC championship game, leading the Atlanta Falcons 42-14 in the third quarter. The Packers have scored 35 unanswered points with the latest a seven-yard touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers (his third) to John Kuhn (his second).

The Falcons won 13 games in the regular season including a 20-17 victory over the Packers Nov. 28 but nothing has gone right for them in what is turning out to be one of the worst losses in franchise history.

Rodgers has thrown for 330 yards and three touchdowns and has another touchdown on the ground. Matt Ryan, on the other hand, has struggled to find his way going 9-for-15 for 87 yards and two interceptions.

With Michael Turner now effectively out of the gameplan, the Falcons will need a lot of big plays, something they haven’t been able to do much of during the season.
