NFL Playoffs TV Schedules And Scores: Packers Blast Falcons 48-21, Draw Bears Or Seahawks

Well, that could’ve gone worse. Instead of getting splattered by the Green Bay Packers, the Atlanta Falcons could’ve lost to Michael Vick or the New Orleans Saints. Those outcomes would’ve been worse, right? Right? Jesus.

For TV schedules for tomorrow’s Seahawks-Bears and Jets-Patriots games, click here. The NFC Championship Game will be played at either Chicago or Seattle at 3 pm on Fox, Jan. 23.

This was an ass-whooping. Aaron Rodgers was completely unstoppable, the Falcons wouldn’t have even come close to 200 yards if not for garbage time, and the Packers very easily could’ve put up 55 points if they’d really wanted to. It’s going to be a very long offseason — until tonight it was hard to imagine any outcome to this game that would’ve soured one of the best regular seasons in franchise history, but this game more than proved the Falcons’ many doubters correct.

Still, this team has a foundation and a future. Next year’s regular season may not go as well as this year’s, but next year’s postseason will be better. How many times in Falcons history have you been confident about the team making the playoffs again the next year?
