The Chicago Bears are up 35-10 late on the Seattle Seahawks, putting them in line to welcome the Green Bay Packers into Soldier Field for next week’s NFC Championship Game. The game will be played at 3 pm ET on Fox next Sunday.
The division rivals have played twice this year, splitting the series. The Bears won 20-17 in Chicago while various important Packers were injured, while the Pack won 10-3 at Lambeau in a week-17 game that would’ve otherwise eliminated Green Bay from the playoffs.
The Bears finally gave the Seahawks the playoff beating that was supposed to come last week, when Marshawn Lynch and company shocked the defending champs in Qwest Field. The Hawks will finish the season a bizarre 8-10 and earn the right to draft way, way later than they probably should.
At least there’s now an argument that the Falcons didn’t catch the worst beatdown of the weekend, but you’d have to work to make the case.
