Panthers Vs. Falcons Score Update: 21-0, Falcons Are 30 minutes Away From Home Field Advantage

The Atlanta Falcons are leading 21-0 at halftime but it really could be much worse. The Falcons have turned the ball over three times (twice on failed fourth down attempts and once on a Michael Turner fumble). Still, the Falcons are 30 minutes away from getting to play the next two games in the friendly confines of the Georgia Dome by clinching home field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs.

Matt Ryan has been unstoppable throwing for 206 yards and two touchdowns in the first half. He’s on pace to set single-game personal bests for completions, attempts, yards and touchdowns. With a 21-point lead, Mike Mularkey will likely ease up on the passing frenzy but if he doesn’t, Ryan could be in for a career day.

Roddy White, who earlier broke Terance Mathis’ record for catches in a season, needs just eight more receiving yards to break his own record for most yards receiving in a single season. White has five catches for 48 yards and one touchdown at the half.
