The Tampa Bay Buccaneers kept their dream season going with their 10th win and a 23-13 victory over the New Orleans Saints. The Bucs now need the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers to both lose to the Washington Redskins and Chicago Bears, respectively, to punch their ticket to the playoffs.
The Falcons victory over the Panthers clinches the No. 1 seed for them and they’ll be playing at home for the rest of the NFC playoffs. The Bears are now locked in as the No. 2 seed and the Packers game means nothing to them except the pure joy and satisfaction provided by keeping a division rival out of the playoffs.
The Philadelphia Eagles will be the No. 3 seed and host either the Packers, Giants or Buccaneers in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. The No. 4 seed will be decided tonight by the St. Louis Rams and Seattle Seahawks. The Saints are the No. 5 seed and could work their into a rematch with the Falcons in the divisional round. The last playoff seed will be either the Packers, Giants or Bucs depending on how the late games shake out.
