NFL Playoffs Schedule: Packers-Bears NFC Championship Game Time And Weather

The 2011 NFC Championship Game, pitting the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears, will kick off right ‘round 3 pm EST today on FOX. That’s two hours later than usual, if you’re just now stopping by and wondering where your football is at. This is the NFL’s way of stretching two games to fill an entire Sunday, and bless them for it. (That second game, the AFC Championship, is on at 6:30 on CBS.)

Your announcers are Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, the Packers are favored by four points after starting the week favored by three, and Chicago's game time temperature will be a wonderful 18 degrees with a 60 percent chance of precipitation. Wonderful!

The Packers come in as one of the NFL’s hottest teams, having upset the Eagles and trounced the Falcons, while the Bears wowed nobody by beating the Seahawks last week. Then again, the Bears beat the Packers once, and Green Bay needed everything it had to beat Chicago to get into the playoffs in week 17.

For more on the NFC Championship you should head to Acme Packing Company or Windy City Gridiron right this instant.
