After scoring 14 points in the first half, the Green Bay Packers offense has been stagnant in the second half and this game morphed into a defensive struggle. That’s all changed now as the Packers defense scored when defensive lineman BJ Raji intercepted a Caleb Hanie pass and returned it 18 yards for a touchdown to give the Packers a 21-7 lead. 87 seconds later, the Bears scored on a 35-yard touchdown from Hanie to Earl Bennett to bring the lead back to seven, 21-14.
When Jay Cutler left the game with a knee injury, all hope appeared to be lost for the Bears. However, Hanie has brought the offense to life. Now, it’s up to the Packers offense to see if they can regain some of the first half magic or if the Bears can complete this improbable comeback.
