The roster (or whatever) for the Associated Press' 2010 NFL All-Pro Team was announced today, with Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White and DE John Abraham making the first-team cut. It's the first All-Pro first-team designation of White's career and Abraham's first since 2001, when he was a member of the New York Jets. They're also the first Falcons to make the AP's first team since RB Michael Turner did so in 2008.
Turner made the second team this time around, along with backfield mate FB Ovie Mughelli.
The only other NFC South first-teamer is New Orleans Saints OG Jahri Evans, though former divisional foe DE Julius Peppers made it in. Dolphins OT Jake Long made the team -- he's noteworthy around here for being one of the very few players drafted ahead of QB Matt Ryan in 2008. Stretching to find locally relevant players to mention here, because the thing is very AFC-heavy. Oh, hey, former Georgia Tech star Calvin Johnson made the second team.
