Herschel Walker, Carson Palmer To Panthers?, And Free Swiperboy: Around The Perimeter

Dawgs: Herschel Walker's second MMA fight is coming up, which has him out making appearances and talking to media. Jeff Schultz has a word on the state of Georgia Bulldogs football, whether Walker could play for the Atlanta Falcons, A.J. Green, and what's next after MMA.

NFC South: Should the Carolina Panthers take a swipe at Cincinnati Bengals QB Carson Palmer, who's put himself on the trade block? As a Falcons fan, I support anything that involves Carolina investing a lot in a quarterback whose job it will be to run around behind that offensive line.

↵

SEC: Tennessee Volunteers basketball player Renaldo Woolridge, better known to Youtube and Twitter as Swiperboy, is at the heart of yet another potential Vols violation. Never really gets old, does it?

↵

Also, the Alabama Crimson Tide have decided they're not going to lose to the Auburn Tigers ever again.

↵

Hawks: Hoopinion shows that the Atlanta Hawks do a good job of creating long-distance scoring opportunities, likely because of improved ball movement.

↵

Also, behold the Speed Index, a new NBA metric that does a better job than pace factor at showing which teams play fast and slow. The Hawks play sluggish offense and brisk defense, and neither of those is necessarily a bad thing.
