With just a little more than two quarters down, the conversation for 2011 NFL Pro Bowl MVP can finally begin. Obviously in a 42-21 rout, we can focus our attention on the NFC squad and two players have set themselves apart from the rest of the all-stars. Current Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan and former Falcons cornerback DeAngelo Hall are the leaders in the clubhouse.
Ryan is 6-for-7 passing for 91 yards and two touchdowns. He actually hasn’t had a ball hit the ground yet since his lone incompletion was an interception on a deep pass to Miles Austin. Hall leads the NFC defense with five tackles and has forced two turnovers including a 34-yard fumble-return for a touchdown in the first half.
The only other potential candidates at this point include Roddy White (3 receptions for 53 yards) and Adrian Peterson (9 rushes for 59 yards and one touchdown).
