Boise State Vs. Georgia, Mad Panthers, And Something The Falcons Lead The League At: Around The Perimeter

Dawgs: One Bronco Nation Under God, our extensively named Boise St. Broncos community, predicts a win over the Georgia Bulldogs in the 2011 Chick Fil A Kickoff Game. Primary evidence: the Liberty Bowl.

Also, Bubba N Earl deliver a tremendous two-parter on Dawgs declaring early for the NFL Draft during Mark Richt's time in Athens. Part one spans from Terreal Bierra (WHO?) to Thomas Davis and Odell Thurman, while part two brings us right up to A.J. Green.

Thrashers: Florida Panthers fans are tin foilin' last night's loss to the Atlanta Thrashers.

↵

Sadness all around: Sports & Grits compares Mark Richt and Paul Hewitt. Supporters of either school will sigh and shake their heads.

↵

Falcons: The Atlanta Falcons lead the NFL in Football Outsiders' weighted special teams rating, which purports to factor in everything that happens during special teams plays while accounting for weather and luck. Good special teams is a sign of good depth and good health in addition to good coaching, except for all those NFC West teams that are awesome at returning kicks because they get to practice it so often.
