New Orleans Saints Vs. Seattle Seahawks Score: 34-30, Seahawks Leading Late

The Seattle Seahawks had overcome a 17-7 first half deficit and led the Saints 34-20 heading into the fourth quarter. The momentum was all on their side but the Saints have squashed all of that with 10 unanswered points to cut the Seahawks lead to 34-30.

Garrett Hartley made his third field goal of the game, this time a 21-yarder, to cap an eight-play, 53-yard drive bringing the Saints to within four points. It’s worth noting that the Saints have never won a road playoff game and are 0-11 under Sean Payton when trailing by 14 or more at the start of the fourth quarter. Still, this is the Seahawks we’re talking about and their 7-9-ness is starting to rear it’s ugly head.

If the Seahawks manage to lose this game, after scoring 34 points, it’s a deserving loss. Nobody expected this kind of offensive output from this team, least of all the Saints.
