Green Bay Packers Vs. Philadelphia Eagles Score: 14-3, Packers In Control At Halftime

The Philadelphia Eagles finally put together an impressive drive and cut the Green Bay Packers lead to 14-3 with a 29-yard field goal from David Akers, who’d missed a 41-yard attempt earlier in the game. The drive covered 63 yards over eight plays and put the first points on the board for the Eagles.

Michael Vick is 7-for-12 for 93 yards and has 28 more on the ground. The blitzes from the Packers are definitely having an impact and Vick doesn’t appear superhuman as he had at times during the season.

The Packers are controlling the first down category (13-5) and lead the time of possession which is a surprise considering they are not known as a running team. The reason is Aaron Rodgers and his mastery of the five-to-10 yard routes. He’s able to sit back and pick apart this defense.

The second half awaits.
