Green Bay Packers Beat Philadelphia Eagles, 21-16, Will Face Falcons Next Week

The Green Bay Packers became the third road team to win on this truly wild, Wild Card weekend when they beat the Philadelphia Eagles, 21-16. The Packers dominated much of the early action and led 21-10 in the fourth quarter but the Eagles made it interesting when a Michael Vick touchdown run cut the lead to five. Leading 21-16, the Packers were unable to run out the clock giving the Eagles the ball and a chance to win it but a Vick interception in the end zone ended that threat and sent the Eagles home with a loss.

For the Falcons, this was the best case scenario weekend. The two biggest threats to the Falcons, the New Orleans Saints and Eagles, were both eliminated setting up a much less frightening road featuring the Packers next week and either the Seattle Seahawks or Chicago Bears in the NFC title game.
