With the news of Julio Jones being officially ruled out of Sunday's contest between the Atlanta Falcons and the Carolina Panthers, it was thought that Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez would have to step up even more to help the Falcons offense flourish.
Then practice came on Wednesday. Tony Gonzalez was held out with elbow issues (and probably a much needed day of rest) as the 35-year old future Hall-of-Famer prepares to deal with Carolina's defense. Roddy White was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, as lingering thigh issues have slowed down the three-time Pro Bowler this season.
On the defensive side, hard-hitting safety William Moore was put out of last week's Packers game with a shoulder injury, which coupled with a lingering neck injury has taken Moore all the way off the practice field.
