Both the Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions injury reports got a lot cleaner Thursday, with a number of players taking the field for the first time this week. However, wide receiver Julio Jones, tackle Sam Baker and nickel back Christopher Owens had to sit out again for Atlanta, while running back Jahvid Best and receiver Rashied Davis missed for Detroit.
Defensive end John Abraham, center Todd McClure and guard Garrett Reynolds took on limited Thursday loads after missing Wednesday. The Lions got back a whole slew of players ... check below for the details.
Atlanta may need to sit Jones for one more week, which would actually give him two more weeks of rest. The Falcons have a well-timed bye up ahead after the Detroit game.
