Matt Ryan Injury: Second Opinion On The Way, According To Report

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has said he thinks he's fine after withstanding a leg injury against the Detroit Lions. He came back to play and only missed two snaps, so, yeah. He's said the injury wasn't as bad as it looked, and it looked pretty horrible. But with a bye week ahead, Ryan's reportedly planning to have some extra attention paid to his knee:

A source with knowledge of the situation says that Ryan will be getting a second opinion during the upcoming bye week.

I don't really know how these things work, but that doesn't entirely sound like good news. Still, he's already shown he can play through the damage, and with a week off, hopefully he'll be near 100 percent. Or Chris Redman can start against the Indianapolis Colts. Actually, let's just do that.
