Atlanta Falcons defensive end John Abraham will not play Sunday night against the Packers. Abraham was declared inactive for the team with a hip injury that had him added to the team's injury report on Friday afternoon. In Abraham's place, expect Kroy Biermann and Lawrence Sidbury to share snaps opposite Ray Edwards.
Abraham opened the season with two sacks against Chicago, but has been quiet through three games. In other injury news, both receiver Roddy White and running back Jason Snelling participated fully in practice on Friday. White sat out practice Wednesday with a hip injury, while Snelling is recovering from a concussion suffered in the loss to Tampa Bay two weeks ago.
Abraham will join starting center Todd McClure, who is out with a knee injury, on the inactives list. McClure missed the firs two games of the 2011 season recovering from offseason surgery. Rookie center Joe Hawley will start in place of McClure.
