Vikings Injury Report, Week 12: Adrian Peterson Listed As Doubtful

The Minnesota Vikings are more than likely going to be without star running back Adrian Peterson who suffered an ankle injury in the first half against the Oakland Raiders last week. If Peterson is not able to play that will severely limit the Vikings offense as they will be turning to second year pro Toby Gerhart who has only 118 yards and 24 carries this year.

The Vikings are also looking like they will be again out with wide receiver Percy Harvin who is still suffering from a rib injury. With the Vikings starting rookie quarterback Christian Ponder and adding in no Peterson or Harvin it can be safe to assume that the Vikings offense will struggle on Sunday.

Here's the full Vikings practice and injury report for Week 12.

DID NOT PARTICIPATE: Cornerback Chris Cook (not injury-related, out), safety Husain Abdullah (concussion, out), running back Adrian Peterson (ankle, doubtful), tight end Kyle Rudolph (quadriceps, doubtful).

LIMITED PARTICIPATION: Guard Anthony Herrera (knee, out), wide receiver Percy Harvin (ribs, questionable) and tight end Visanthe Shiancoe (hamstring, questionable)

FULL PARTICIPATION: Linebacker Erin Henderson (hamstring, probable), defensive tackle Christian Ballard (hamstring, probable), offensive tackle, Charlie Johnson (achilles, probable), safety Jamarca Sanford (shoulder, probable) and quarterback Christian Ponder (knee, probable).
