ESPN NFL Power Rankings: Atlanta Falcons Crack Top 10

The Atlanta Falcons have moved into the top 10 in the most recent ESPN Power Rankings as they jump from No. 11 last week to No 9 this week. The Falcons are fresh off a 24-14 victory over the Minnesota Vikings and currently sit at 7-4 on the season, just one game behind the NFC South leading New Orleans Saints (8-3).

The Falcons travel to Houston this week to take on the Texans and rookie quarterback T.J. Yates in a game with huge playoff implications for both teams. Yates is starting in place of injured quarterbacks Matt Schaub and Matt Leinart for the Texans.

The rest of the NFC South has the Saints coming in at No. 4 this week in the power rankings, while the Buccaneers sit at No. 20 and the Panthers come in this week at No. 28.
