Falcons Fantasy Football Projections, Week Nine: Struggling Colts Up Next, Rejoice And Be Glad!

With Indianapolis on deck, what the Falcons essentially have this weekend is a second bye-week. Yes, this is the same Colts team that allowed the Saints to put up 62 points only two weeks ago. The same Colts team that remains winless at the season's halfway mark.

So for those of you whose fantasy teams are populated with Falcons, this should be a great week for you (regardless of who you own). Despite a passing attack that has lacked potency in recent weeks, any and all Falcons starters would qualify as recommended starts this week. That's what happens when the opponent owns the second-worst rushing and total defensive units in the league.

And since the Colts have a defense that is allowing 144 rushing yards per game, naturally Michael Turner looks to have a huge game this week. But don't count the passing game out either: the Colts also have allowed just over 250 passing yards per game as well. Matt Ryan, Roddy White, and Tony Gonzalez should also be locks to have in your lineup, as always.

As for Julio Jones owners, don't fret: the rookie wideout has returned to practice this week, and all signs point to him starting Sunday's game in Indianapolis. Though the Falcons will likely be extra cautious and limit his playing time somewhat, a less than 100% Julio against the Colts is still better than several healthy receivers.
