Blowing out the 0-9 Indianapolis Colts is nice, but it doesn't get you much credibility nationally. In the latest NFL Power Rankings from SBNation, the Atlanta Falcons are the lowest ranked five-win team in the league at No. 14:
14. Atlanta Falcons (5-3, LW: 19): Three in a row for the Falcons and they grab a share of first place next week against the Saints.
Now, after a three-game win streak, the Falcons host New Orleans in their biggest game of the season.
An Atlanta victory would put them in a tie for first-place in the NFC South, while a loss would drop them to 5-4 and put them in a dogfight just to get one of the NFC's two wild-card spots.
Julio Jones breakout game against Indianapolis, where he scored the first two TD's of his NFL career, couldn't have come at a better time, as the Falcons will need all their offensive firepower to defeat Drew Brees and the Saints.
