if you were getting tired of having to watch crappy games on your usual Sunday slate of football games, some changes are finally coming. The NFL announced that CBS will flex the Tennessee Titans versus Atlanta Falcons contest on November 20th from 1 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.

With teams beginning to fall out of, or in some cases work themselves into playoff contention, the current schedule becomes loaded during different times of the day with crappy games at one juncture and great games at another. (It would be nice if the NCAA would do the same thing)

Also, per D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta-Journal Constitution:

The league also announced that the Indianapolis Colts at New England Patriots game scheduled for Dec. 4– originally scheduled for Sunday Night Football – will move to 1 p.m. The Falcons Dec. 4 game against the Houston Texans could be moved into that prime television slot.

More primetime games for the Falcons? All Falcons fans should be quite pleased.
