NFC South Standings, Schedule: Falcons-Texans, Lions-Saints

The Atlanta Falcons will try to move a step closer to an NFC Playoff spot when they travel to Houston on Sunday to take on the Texans

Atlanta Falcons vs. Houston Texans, FOX, 1:00pm ET: The Atlanta Falcons are looking for their third straight win when they take on the Houston Texans who are down to their third string quarterback. Rookie T.J. Yates will get the start for the Texans after Matt Schaub and Matt Leinart both went down with season ending injuries.

Carolina Panthers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, FOX, 1:00pm ET: The Buccaneers have lost five straight games and six of their last seven while also having some injury concerns with their starting quarterback Josh Freeman. Cam Newton continues to put up big numbers in his rookie season but the wins have been few and far between for the Panthers.

Detroit Lions vs. New Orleans Saints, NBC, 8:20pm ET: The Saints will try to remain unbeaten at home while also maintaining their one game lead over the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC South. The Saints are undefeated at the Superdome where they are 5-0 on the season. The Lions are trying to hang in the NFC playoff picture and have been a very good road team this season where they have gone 4-1.
