Friend of the program Knox Baredeen of CBSSports.com is reporting that injured cornerback Brent Grimes is warming up with the team. Grimes has not practiced with the team since having knee surgery that caused him to miss the last two games.
Head coach Mike Smith told reporters on Tuesday that Grimes would be unlikely to start or play against Jacksonville but could make his return against the New Orleans Saints December 26.
In Grimes’ absence, the Falcons have used a combination of Dominque Foxworth and Christopher Owens opposite Dunta Robinson.
