The Atlanta Falcons' tour of the AFC South has been made significantly easier by an unexpected rash of new quarterbacks, and the Houston Texas will provide another example in Week 13. With T.J. Yates at the helm for Houston, the Falcons are 2.5-point favorites over the Texans for Sunday's game at Reliant Stadium, according to our odds partners Odds Shark.
The Texans, who have lost Matt Schaub and Matt Leinart to injury, are the second AFC South team to face off with the Falcons with a quarterback few would have expected to make a start in 2011; Atlanta dispatched the Peyton Manning-less Colts at the beginning of November.
But unlike the Colts, the Texans have firepower on offense beyond their passing game, and will likely use Arian Foster and Ben Tate heavily in Week 13.
