Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green, formerly of the Georgia Bulldogs, became the first rookie receiver to make the Pro Bowl since Anquan Boldin in 2003, and Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson, pride of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, made his second Pro Bowl.

Other former UGA stars selected: defensive tackle Vince Wilfork (New England Patriots) made his fourth, defensive lineman Richard Seymour (Oakland Raiders) made his seventh, and cornerback Champ Bailey (Denver Broncos) made his 11th.
