NFL Scores, NFC South Standings: Falcons Stumble As Saints March Towards Division Title

The New Orleans Saints extend their lead in the NFC South to two games over the Atlanta Falcons.

Houston Texans 17 vs. Atlanta Falcons 10: Matt Ryan struggled throwing two interceptions as Atlanta hurt their playoff chances with a 17-10 loss to the Texans. Arian Foster ran for 111 yards and scored the go-ahead touchdown for the Texans.

Carolina Panthers 38 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 19: Cam Newton ran for three more touchdowns and set the NFL record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in the process. Josh Johnson got the start under center for the Buccaneers who fall into last place in the NFC South.

New Orleans Saints 31 vs. Detroit Lions 17: Drew Brees topped 300 yards and threw three touchdowns as New Orleans defeated Detroit by a score of 31-17. The Saints overcame a big day by the Lions' quarterback Matthew Stafford to remain unbeaten and inch closer to another NFC South title.
