Aqib Talib Investigation, Derp Brett Favre To Panthers Derp, And Herschel Walker: Around The Perimeter

NFC South: Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Aqib Talib is a person of interest in a Texas police investigation into a March 21 shooting. If Talib ends up missing playing time (good joke! There will be no playing time! NFL lockout!), Tampa's secondary could be in awful shape. The whole ordeal, of course, produced some of Mike Florio's hand-wringinest hand-wringing.

Speaking of players who have been implicating for taking inappropriate shots, Brett Favre was briefly rumored to be a potential Carolina Panthers pickup. Remember, if a non-newspaperman blogger writes something about Favre un-retiring to play for Team X, it's time to start making jokes about the basements of mothers.

Dawgs: Dawg Sports would prefer if Herschel Walker be kept far from any podium arranged in front of any UGA athletics team after his pre-game speech led to the Lady Bulldogs getting doubled up by Texas A&M on Sunday. And former Dawg Fran Tarkenton claims he could fix the NFL lockout in two minutes flat.
