The Atlanta Falcons currently have nine picks in the 2011 NFL Draft, starting with No. 27 in Thursday night's first round. They're reportedly poking around for interest in a top-10 trade partner, but that's not likely to actually happen. As it stands, they hold their regularly allotted pick in each round, plus a pair of seventh rounders acquired in 2010 trades.

In March of last year the Detroit Lions traded a 2010 sixth-round pick and a 2011 seventh-rounder for CB Chris Houston, a move that Falcons fans far and wide hailed. Then in August the team traded OL Quinn Ojinnaka to the New England Patriots for their 2011 seventh, which was likely facilitated by the teams sharing a workout space at Flowery Branch just days prior.
