By "Michael Vick, Drew Brees advance," I mean Matt Ryan and Hines Ward are out of ESPN.com's Madden 12 cover vote bracket. The Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Bulldogs are now without representatives, left to root for either a NFC South archrival, a quarterback who burned the franchise to the ground, a quarterback who burned the secondary to the ground, or whichever running back is more lovable between Jamaal Charles and Peyton Hillis.

I would throw Danny Woodhead out, but he's going to get flattened by Aaron Rodgers, because let's keep in mind this entire thing is rigged for Rodgers anyway. Adrian Peterson and Patrick Willis also advance.

Really, the only interesting matchup is that one between the two running backs who've been sorely under-utilized at points throughout their pro careers. Browns fans get a lot of credit for sticking by an awful franchise through decades of disappointment, but the Chiefs fanbase is the most underrated in all of sports.
