2011 NFL Draft Grades Roundup Shows Falcons Have Seventh Most Controversial Class

Football Outsiders has released its annual pileup of NFL Draft grades, throwing them all in one big table and discovering what various hairpieces agree and disagree on. It's no surprise the Atlanta Falcons finished among the classes that inspired the most disagreement, but I didn't expect to see six other teams bringing about more discord, starting with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Detroit Lions finished with the most-heralded class, of course, but here's the bad news for Falcons fans who are concerned with what Mel Kiper and so forth think: the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cleveland Browns round out the top three. That's a division rival and the team with whom the Falcons traded for Julio Jones.

The good news! The Carolina Panthers rank among the three worst.

It's pretty funny to go through the team-by-team list and discover there were only two teams -- the Green Bay Packers and New York Giants -- able to put together drafts that escaped disdain.
