Hines Ward Lists Roddy White Fourth Among NFL's Top Wide Receivers

We all know Roddy White is a fantastic football player, this isn't breaking news to anyone. However, it's certainly noteworthy when a fellow wide receiver is joining in the chorus of praise for arguably the best player on the entire Falcons team.

Fellow wideout and UGA alum Hines Ward ranked Roddy at No. 4 on his list of the top ten receivers currently in the NFL beating out guys like Reggie Wayne, Brandon Marshall, and Greg Jennings.

On White, Ward accurately noted that "He's all the Falcons had, in the receiving corps." Yep, that statement sums up the wide receiver position for the Falcons in 2010: Roddy, Roddy, and more Roddy. And it's not like Hines is just throwing names up on the list. He's a guy who has been in the league for several years and knows what a top-flight receiver looks like.

It's definitely been nice to see Roddy change from "first round bust" into now an elite, game-changing playmaker. If he can keep his performance at this level for a few more years, we may very well see him in the Hall of Fame someday.
