Despite what some may think, there are actually people outside of Atlanta who recognize how good this team can and will be next season.
Former Falcons CB Domonique Foxworth, currently with the Ravens, recently filled in for Peter King over at SI.com, and in he wrote some kind words about his former team, specifically talking about how good the offense can be in 2011:
"I think the Falcons are going to be a tough team in the NFC. Watching Matt Ryan, with one more year under his belt, and rookie wide receiver Julio Jones opposite Roddy White, plus a healthy Michael Turner, could be exciting."
For the Falcons, I'm sure it's nice to hear your former players speaking highly of you. It's certainly better than him pulling a T.O. and blasting everyone on his former team. Of course, the Ravens fans probably don't like one of their players praising the Ice Man, with him seemingly always ranked higher than Joe Flacco on everyone's list.
Beyond that though, Foxworth is a talented writer. He talks about everything from football to questionable Twitter pics, with some pretty witty observations along the way. His article, along with this one regarding his take on the lockout, are both definitely worth a read.
